Still Point Art Gallery Opens "Chasing the Light (Finding the Shadow)"

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Feb. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Still Point Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its virtual exhibition, Chasing the Light (Finding the Shadow).

The exhibition shows the work of thirty artists from around the world; over one hundred paintings, photographs, and mixed media pieces. Five artists received special recognition. Ralph Hassenpflug of Maine was awarded Best in Show-Portfolio for his collection of seven dream-like, black-and-white photographs. Carol Gooberman of New Jersey was awarded Best in Show-Single Image for her painting, On the Lookout.

In addition, Irene Hill, from Florida, won the award for Best Photograph for her image, Egg in Spoon. Dan Pyle of New York won Best Drawing for his charcoal piece, Shadows. Claire Lewis Evans of Georgia won Best Three-Dimensional Artwork for her piece Satellite.

Chasing the Light (Finding the Shadow) is featured in the spring 2015 issue of Still Point Arts Quarterly.  It remains a featured online exhibition through April 30, 2015.
