Favorites in her extensive repertoire include “Si, Mi Chiamano Mimi” from Puccini’s La Boheme, “If I Loved You” from Rogers and Hammerstein’ As a first generation Italian American, Stefanelli believes the spirit of the Italian heritage can be captured in the power of music. Her passion and joy in sharing her love of music is etched into each of her performances, which number 500 and counting. “A Short History of Italian Opera!” begins at 2 PM on Sunday, February 22 at Academy of Music and Dance: 508 Main Street, Suite 102, Spotswood, NJ.
