Holyfield, ASGC, whose theme this year is “Faith and Unity,” has been exceptionally successful during NBA All-Star weekend paying tribute to NBA players and coaches, local pastors and high-profile individuals whom effect change in the lives of others while portraying an inspiring and motivating image. “The current state of the world is deeply saddening,” says Holyfield. “The 10th Annual All-Star Gospel Celebration will celebrate faith and unity in New York City by bringing together unity of diversity, peace and power!” This year’s “Slam-Dunk” The event will boast the attendance of numerous celebrity-guests featuring performances by chart-topping American Idol® runner- up Danny Gokey, Grammy® nominated and Dove award-winning CCM artist Jamie Grace, multi-award winning artist (11 Grammy® and seven Dove® Awards) Shirley Caesar, Bryan Popin, Angella Christie, Bizzle, Kevin Levar, Micah Stampley, Andrea McClurklin-Mellini and Mr. Talkbox. Presenters will includeNBA Veteran Allan Houston, TV One’s Roland Martin-Smith, NBA Player Chris Taft and wife Dana, NBA Champion Antonio Daniels and wife Sonia and NBA Player Garret Temple to name a few.
