Follow on Google News | A Lot to Love this Valentine’s Day at Growlers PourhouseI HEART BEER event going on at Growlers Pourhouse Saturday February 14, 2015.
Starting at noon, Growlers Pourhouse will be tapping several coveted craft beers, including crowd-favorite, Hopslam, by Bell’s Brewery. Also on the list are Duck-Rabbit Brewery’s Anarchy, Bell’s Brewery Smitten and local Birdsong Oak Aged Mexicali Stout. The all-day event, “I HEART Beer,” kicks off midday, February 14th. “We’ve saved several of our favorite beers for Valentine’s Day, and we’re excited to tap them at one time, for an all-day event,” says Jeff Tonidandel, one of the owners of Growlers Pourhouse. “One of the things we love most about being a craft beer bar is getting our hands on an amazing beer selection, and then sharing these delicious beers with our customers.” Chosen for the fifth year in a row as Draft Magazine’s Top 100 Beer Bars in the US, means that the craft beer bar gets their hands on some of the most anticipated beers throughout the year. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday, the Growlers Pourhouse staff opted to save some of these prize craft beers for the holiday festivities. “We wanted to make this Valentine’s Day a fun day to get out and try what we think are some of the best beers in the world,” continues Tonidandel. “It’s a way of sharing something we love with our regulars and new customers.” Entrance for the event is free. Whether you have a sweetie or not, at the corner of N. Davidson and 35th street, there’s going to be a lot of love going around.
