APMAX Adds Cortelco Brand to their SIP ACS Tool

MITCHELL, S.D. - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Mitchell SD - Innovative Systems has completed testing and has added a new brand of SIP enterprise desk phones to the APMAX Automated Configuration Service. In an effort to provide service providers a low cost entry point without sacrificing quality, the C58P, C60 and C62 models of the Cortelco brand have been added to the ACS software.

After rigorous testing the Cortelco brand has stood up well and gives service providers a great option in the $50-$75 price range. According to Mike Murdock, Innovative Systems CTO, “The three Cortelcos we have added to the ACS inventory while not as feature rich as some of the other brands are still rock solid phones.” Murdock adds, “The price point gives our service providers some great leverage if they want to include a SIP phone in a hosted package. On a three year contract a service provider could include the phone in the package for about $1.40 per month.” The C60 and C62 models can also accommodate side car expansions.

The APMAX ACS SIP phone tool handles provisioning, firmware updates and also offers a Web Portal option for subscriber management of SIP key settings.

The Cortelco joins over 10 different vendor brands and nearly 55 different SIP devices that the ACS service can manage and maintain firmware updates for. The primary advantage of ACS is to allow service providers the ability to manage multiple brands of SIP phones from one GUI that they are already using with their APMAX hardware platform.
