VPI Introduces Universal Power Plug Adapters

AURORA, Ohio - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of universal power plug adapters to its popular line of power products. Universal power plug adapters are ideal for converting a variety of power plug types into a particular standard.

A wide range of universal power plug adapters are available and accept plugs from all countries except BS546 (Type M). The power adapters support connections to power sockets from countries with the following standards: AS 3112 for Australia, New Zealand and China; BS 1363 for UK and Iraq; BS 546 for India and Parts of Africa; BS546 for South Africa; CEI 23-50 for Italy and Uruguay; Europlug CEE 7/16 for Europe, Russia, and UAE; Schuko CEE 7/7 for Europe; SEV 1011 for Switzerland; and SI 32 for Israel and Palestine. These adapters are ideal for travelers who need to connect home country devices to outlets in their travel destination, or for users to connect imported devices to local power sockets.

The universal power plug adapters support a voltage of 250V and are CE and RoHS compliant. Note that the power plug adapters do not convert voltage, they only change plug type.
