Kathy Muir - Book Cover Judge Album Release

STAMFORD, Conn. - March 1, 2015 - PRLog -- March 3^rd, 2015 marks the long-awaited album release of Book Cover Judge by Scottish singer songwriter and Stamford, CT local Kathy Muir. This is Muir's latest album, a follow up to her debut album Far From Entirely, released in 2012.

Muir came to Connecticut three years ago from Scotland. A first ever studio experience, she partnered with producer Steve Hansen.  Over the next 18 months they co-produced Muir's Far From Entirely.  Even after the album was complete Muir continued to write and record, but then started to familiarize herself with Connecticut's live music scene.

Book Cover Judge includes song styles found in her debut album, but reveals a greater richness to her songwriting both lyrically and stylistically. The title of this twelve-song album could not be more apt.

'Collaboration' rings true with this album. Muir not only worked closely with Hansen, but also partnered with a cubist painter for one song and high school twins fighting homelessness in Miami for another. She continues to collaborate remotely with Edinburgh-based piano player Harry Whalley, determined that geography won't be a barrier.
