Follow on Google News | Early Bird Ticket Sales Underway For 4th Annual California Jazz & Wine FestEarly bird tickets sales have begun for the fourth annual California Jazz & Wine Fest. The festival takes place Sunday, May 17.
By: Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise This year’s festival will be held at a new location: Thousand Oaks Community Park (2525 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks). It will also be open an hour longer (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., noon to 5:00 p.m. for VIP ticket holders) and feature two stages for live jazz. “We had 1,600 guests at last year’s festival,” says Nadine Rothermel, the Rotary Club festival chair. “We outgrew our location behind the Thousand Oaks Library. Our new venue has more room and provides more natural shade.” Grammy winningGordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band is headlining the live entertainment The festival will feature wineries, local breweries and boutique spirits. Food trucks will be on hand to sell food and local artists will display their wares. Tickets are $50 per person/general admission and $100 per person/VIP admission. Both include unlimited beverage tasting and a tasting glass. Besides early entry, VIP ticket holders receive preferred parking and have access to a private enclosed lounge with complimentary wine and food. The event raises money to benefit school music programs and other non-profit organizations in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. The entire park is reserved for the festival.
