Sylvie Does it Again, Mizner Country Club Earns Wine Society Award

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- For the second year, Mizner Country Club’s Wine Society (http://www.miznercc.org/palm-beach-country-club-experience/wine-society/) has received the CMAA International Wine Society “Award of Merit” for the 2014 Wine Program Awards.

The Wine Society “Award of Merit” is given to clubs on an annual basis and to applaud CMAA member-managed clubs that establish and maintain fine wine programs for their membership. The Wine Society award is meant to be a hallmark of quality and assurance of an eminent wine program.

Additionally, our very own Sommelier, Sylvie Gervais, received the title of the “Simply the Best Women Sommelier” at the Simply Italian Great Wines Americas 2015 Tour in Miami.

Sylvie participated in the American Fine Wine Competition at FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality. Invited judges are professionals who are recognized as wine educators, wine writers, restauranteurs, and sommeliers. It is the combination of judges, wines, and the award system, that make this a unique competition rivaling all others in prestige.

Twenty-five judges, including Sylvie, tasted over 730 wines in just 2 days and created lifelong memories.
