Free Guilford County PAGE Webinar: Find the Right College Fit for the Gifted Student

OAK RIDGE, N.C. - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Guilford County PAGE (Partners for the Advancement of Gifted Education) is sponsoring two free webinar opportunities to help parents of middle and high school students find the right college fit for them.

The one-hour webinars will be available for viewing on March 26, 12-1 p.m. (EDT) and March 29, 2-3 p.m. (EDT). Registration is free and open to the public.

The webinars will address key steps in searching for the right college such as:

·         Knowing the right questions to ask

·         The best ways to search from home

·         Who gets into Ivy League schools

·         How to find hidden gems

·         Getting the most out of college visits

Webinar presenter Susan Goodkin from the California Learning Strategies Center is a graduate of Harvard University, Harvard Law School, and Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. Goodkin’s student clients have been accepted to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, Brown, Duke, Columbia, and many others.
