Author, Kamryn Adams Named to Dress for Success Morris County Board of Directors

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - March 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Author and community advocate Kamryn Adams was appointed to the Dress for Success Morris County Board of Directors for the 2015-2018 term.  As a former corporate executive and an expert in contemporary women's issues, Kamryn brings both personal passion and extensive career experience to the organization whose theme is "working to get women working".

Kamryn brings a particular skill to the clients of Dress for Success Morris County as she is an ICF Certified Professional Coach. She has been coaching women through workshops, conference speaking, books, and lifestyle writing for over a decade.  Kamryn has specialized credentials in Total Life Enhancement Coaching (Life Balance), Career/Business Coaching and Relationship/Family coaching.  Her formal education comes from her studies at The University of Kentucky, The Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and the Institute for Life Coach Training.  In addition she spent 15 years working as a Global Sales & Marketing Executive in both large Fortune 50 companies and small private equity firms.

NJ Biz Magazine awarded Kamryn the honor of Top 50 Women in Business. She is the owner of The Kamryn Adams Group, LLC, a personal and professional development consulting firm with three operating companies: Alliance Life Management, Impresa Marketing Strategies, and Kamryn Adams Content.   "Joining DFS Morris County fits with the theme and purpose for my life. The mission of Dress for Success Morris County is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Morris County is part of the international organization Dress for Success with more than 100 affiliates worldwide. Dress for Success Morris County services are free of charge and designed to empower women and help transform their lives. In 2014 the organization served over 1100 women with free career coaching, skill develpment programs and clothing servies.
