Financial Reporter Christine DiGangi speaks at East-West University

CHICAGO - March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Financial reporter Christine DiGangi presents a lecture titled “10 Things Everyone Should Know about Credit Scores” on Wed. Apr. 15, 2015 as part of the East-West Perspectives lecture series in the Fourth Floor Auditorium at East-West University, 829 S. Wabash Ave., in Chicago.  The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by the lecture at 6:00 p.m.  Admission is free.

DiGangi is a Chicago-based journalist covering personal finance for Credit.com's news site. She explores a variety of consumer issues, like student loan debt, mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, basic budgeting and how day-to-day decisions affect consumers' credit scores and long-term financial goals. Her writing is published across dozens of outlets, including Yahoo! Finance, MSN Money, USA Today and TIME, among others.

Before coming to Credit.com nearly two years ago, she managed communications for the Society of Professional Journalists, was a copy editor for the New York Times News Service and wrote for a handful of other publications. DiGangi graduated with a B.A. in English writing from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

East-West Perspectives is a series of monthly lectures hosted by East-West University.  All events are free, and are held on the third Tuesday of every month from January to March, October and November.  The April and May events are held on the third Wednesday of the month.
