By: Marstons Mills Public Library Join us on Saturday, April 11, from 2:30-4:30 PM, as members of Moments in Time Vintage Dance share dances of the 1910-1920s period. They will be in costume, with additional costumes on display. They will demonstrate dances including one-step, two-step, foxtrot, waltz, and tango. Audience members will then have the opportunity to learn the dances. Watch the dance, then take your chance! Light refreshments will be served. This program will take place next door to the library at the Liberty Hall Club. Although there is no admission fee, registration is required. Return to the library on Wednesday, April 15 at 2 PM, for a Downton Tea and Fashion Show, presented by Donna and Ron Lasko. Donna’ The dance demonstration is from the earlier part of the Downton era, around the time of the Titanic into the early 1920s, whereas the tea and fashion show moves into the latter part. The two programs compliment each other for the show’s span. Marstons Mills Public Library is located at 2160 Main Street, Marstons Mills. Liberty Hall is next door, at 2150 Main Street.
