DIS Dwarka Graduation Ceremony for Kindergarten Kids Wows the Parents

NEW DELHI - March 21, 2015 - PRLog -- One of the best schools in Delhi, the Delhi International School, Sector 23, Dwarka celebrated Graduation Ceremony for kids moving on from kindergarten to Class 1. The grand event was attended by parents who were as excited as the kids themselves when they saw their little ones dressed up in convocation gowns receiving certificates on stage. The kids received their graduation certificates from Mrs. Anuradha Goyal, Director, DIS Society, who was the Chief Guest and Mrs. Rashmi Malik, Principal, DIS Dwraka, who was the Guest of Honour at the event.

The ceremony was filled with quite a buzz of energy built up by the scintillating performances of the young kids of class nursery who were bidding farewell and class 1^st and Class 2^nd who were welcoming the kindergarten kids. The event had a global theme as the kids performed on folk dances from Africa, Italy, UAE, Spain, Germany and India.

Elaborating on the theme of the event, Mrs. Rashmi Malik, Principal, DIS Dwarka, said “It is our constant endeavor to help these young kinds evolve as global citizens with respect for diverse cultures and traditions. The performance theme was conceptualised to provide them with a feel of the cultures outside India so as to make them more receptive towards the same. Taking this further, the theme of our coming session will be based on United Nations.”

From La Tomatina of Italy to Balle of UAE to folk dances of India, the event had endless amazing moments for the crowd to cheer. Adding yet another interactive dimension to the event were the tiny graduates sharing their school experiences on stage, infront of the whole crowd. Some of them even recalled their first day in school and were quite confident with the mic in their tiny hands.

Seeing the spirited performances by the kids, Mrs. Anuradha Goyal, Chief Guest, said, “I congratulate the kids on their achievements. It is a wonderful experience to watch these young ones perform so confidently. I wish them the very best and wish God to bless them!”

Commenting on the progress of the children, Mr. Ravi Goyal, Director, DIS Group of Schools, said “We would like to reemphasise the commitment of our school towards ensuring that each and every child at DIS evolves into a better global citizen and achieves success in his or her life. I would also like to congratulate the teachers and staff of DIS Dwarka for putting up such a wonderful show.”
