10 year old positive rapper Xavier "Xclusive" Bates wants to bring positivity back to music

WASHINGTON - March 21, 2015 - PRLog -- 10 year old positive rapper Xavier "Xclusive" Bates, has seen first hand how kids act and react to negative rap music and negative music in general. He has also seen the effects of positive music in the lives of kids. He wants to change the world with positive music. "I think it’s incredible when a young person in today's world which is filled with so much negativity and violence wants to do something positive for other kids"-GH These qualities are rare and must be supported by those who believe in education and changing minds one life at a time, and one child at a time.

I heard about what he was doing and donated my time to write this press release for him. We are all busy in our lives but when you have a child wanting to help make our world a better place. Its a beautiful thing when Americans come together to support a cause we are all affected by.

Here is Xavier "Xclusive's" own story:
Hi my name is Xavier, my stage name is "Xclusive" I'm 10 years old, I have been given an opportunity of a lifetime to audition for Sony Music a major recording company. I need your help in order to record my professional EP which is a four song demo and music video.  I am concerned with the message that other recording artist are sending to children my age.  I am being raised by my supportive parents Mr. & Mrs. Bates.

Education is very important to me, I maintain a straight A average in school. I rewarded my parents by studying hard and staying out of trouble.  Music is a big part of the lives of kids my age. Most all of the music the kids listen to is negative, about selling drugs, or calling woman and young girls bad words.

I want to spread a positive message to other students and kids. Lots of my friends learned profanity from the records they listen to.  It doesn't have to be that way. Will you help me make a difference for children all over the United States? I take pride in being a young role model. I love to educate and mentor other kids with homework and help them in areas where they are struggling in school

Mr. June Walton and Mr. Youngblood my mentors stated:  "It’s very rare for anyone, especially kids who are pre-occupied with their cell phones and  problems in life to make a decision to be a positive role models" It gets sad sometimes with all the bad news in the media and all the negativity around us. I just want to make someone happy.

What makes me happiest is knowing the parents would be okay buying my music. Since I do not talk about drugs or gangs or anything negative.  It will give the kids a break from all the music that teaches them to be a part of gangs, do drugs and treat girls and women with no respect. I see this every day at school, and you can help me change minds and attitudes.

I was told and I believe that you are never too young to be a role model.  I know everyone needs someone to help them with their dreams. Me being a kid, I am looking for positive role models to help me do something to change my generation of kids who have it really rough. If I can turn one person away from gangs and drugs its worth the journey, I hope its worth your support also.
