Why did 100 Students Get Detention - NONE Suspended or Expelled

Ask Yourself. What would be so serious, that 100 Middle-School Students could pack into a cafeteria one afternoon for detention.....But none get suspended or expelled?

LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE
BALTIMORE - March 24, 2015 - PRLog -- The Baltimore County Public School System gave 100 students detention on one March Afternoon, flooding the parking lots with rushing parents in cars, as opposed to exiting buses. Threatening to leave younger siblings at elementary schools to fend for themselves, as older siblings were caught up in School System Politics.

The Baltimore County Public System has forced thousands of middle-school students to wear a ONE-CARD ID around their necks in full display while at school.

Seems ok on the surface but, the schools have given themselves the right to charge irresponsible pre-teens and teenagers $5 each time a ONE-CARD ID needs to be replaced. And $1 each time a 1-day temporary badge is issued to students.

This is non-negotiable. Parents were not consulted, and it seems as if common-sense has escaped the leadership within the Baltimore County school system again.

The Baltimore County Population already pays approxametely $12,000 PER YEAR to support each student. Somehow the $5 cannot be found in this handsome sum of money.

While parents and teens tend to not see eye to eye on most things. Some good has has come out of the School Systems over reaching and "under the table further taxing" of parents. Parents and their children are coming together to support each other on this issue!
