Top Destination Picks for your Bucket List

As a side-note, they have a list of "places you should go now," of which one example is Cuba. The Travelworld team just got back from Hong Kong, where they attended Virtuoso's annual Symposium. This event, by invitation only, connects the top luxury travel advisors with the heads of the top luxury travel suppliers and travel media from around the world. "This is one of the ways we stay up to speed on the best new offerings and products in the travel industry," says Tania Swasbrook, Luxury Travel Specialist and Vice President. One interesting find came from Virtuoso's first generational report, offering insights into the differences in travel preferences across generations. That report included the fact that Millennials (under 33) are more attracted to private and bespoke tours where they can have more control over the details of their vacation and take the quick trips that a young career will offer. Meanwhile, the Gen-X group (33-49) are looking for luxury that is kid friendly because many are traveling with their families. Boomers and above are more available for travel in retirement and willing to spend on variety.

Travelworld uses this sort of information to further tailor to their clients needs and desires.

Our own Millennial, Fabian Lebrija, has opened up shop in Mexico where he will absorb current trends in Latin society and closely attend to Travelworld's Mexican clientele. Focusing on the "ultra-private", Fabian specializes in the likes of private villas, yachts, remote destinations and sports travel.
