Nash Quest Debuting Music Video For New Single on VEVO and Performing at Live Show in LA

LOS ANGELES - April 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Hip-Hop artist, Nash Quest is launching a new music video for his single, “Contemporary Folklore.” The video will premiere April 8, 2015 on VEVO. The following week, the artist will be performing live on April 16^th at The Silverlake Lounge, 2906 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026 at 9pm. The show is free of charge.

Performing and making music since he was 14 years old, Nash Quest is excited to get to share his passion for music with a live audience in Los Angeles.  "I want to throw myself out there. I want to be impactful and truthful and relatable. Making music can be painful and it can be healing, because it is a reflection of the artist’s life and what they are going through at the moment," said Nash.

Nash Quest writes and produces all of his music saying, "I think experience is key in making music. Experience is what gives a song substance, makes lyrics and beats come alive and become relatable. If I've gone through it, somebody else has probably gone through it as well, maybe not in the same way, but something similar." He has independently produced three singles, one EP, two full length albums and currently working on a fourth album.

The upcoming show will consist of songs from his album, “Contemporary Folklore” and a few new songs. Some of his favorite artists are Kanye West, Jay Z, Talib Kweli, Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Beirut and many others. Nash pulls inspiration not only from people but from general culture that is art, whether it’s fashion, fine arts, graffiti, dance or graphic design. He is inspired by everything around him to create his own music.
