My Only Safe Haven Charts on iTunes

BECKLEY, W.Va. - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- My Only Safe Haven, a Christian rock band and Verb Records artist, recently charted on ITunes under the Christian & Gospel genre. Their debut EP, “Letters,” peaked at number 33 on the charts, making it the second highest charting album in Verb Records history.

  “Letters” is a culmination of the band’s experiences, and each song paints a picture of a different story or emotion, staying true to the group’s desire to connect with their audience.

  “We don't really like to categorize our sound, but when we are asked to do so we usually say we have a ‘pop-punk’ sound,” said Kayla Saunders, vocalist for My Only Safe Haven. “We are just a bunch of good friends who love different types of music and when we write our own, it's like each of our musical influences are implemented into our own songs.”

  This eclectic blend of influences, ranging from Paramore to Flyleaf, truly shine through on “Letters.” In the EP, the band does not hold back from tackling weighty issues, ranging from faith to depression.
