By: Verb Records, a division of Merit Music Group, LLC Label owners and Spoken For bandmates, Corey Brooks and T.K. King, were first introduced to the duo at a concert for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Impressed by their unique sound and loving personalities, Corey recognized the talent of Derek and Candice and they soon began working on an independent project together. After seeing how well they worked together, negotiations began with Verb Records, the company now at the helm of producing and releasing the duo’s debut album. Derek Sesco states, ”We are so excited and blessed to be able to have this opportunity. It has been so fun being in the studio and just being able to see our ministry grow.” The excitement is palpable at Verb Records as well. T.K. King, who is engineering and producing the project, states, "I have absolutely loved working with Derek and Candice in the studio. They are such a joy to be around, and it's amazing to see such talented people have such humble hearts.” “This is an exciting time for both Verb Records and our parent company Merit Music Group,” states Corey Brooks. “Verb Records has continued to grow each year since it’s founding in 2013, but this project marks our first bluegrass endeavor.” Merit’s bluegrass, country, and southern gospel label imprint, Poor Mountain Records, are slated to handle aspects of the projects promotion. This will be Merit’s first ever joint project between both of it’s label imprints. For more information on The Sesco’s, follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ End
