TheTrixieFoundation (http://thetrixiefoundation.org/).org, a 25 year old no-kill animal sanctuary in Appalachia Kentucky, is working to raise awareness of it's existence and cause.

We are seeking all media outlets assistance in gaining support for rebuilding and expanding the foundation now.

The recent rains devastated the existing sanctuary, just as we were preparing to launch our https://www.crowdrise.com/thetrixiefoundation/fundraiser/ funding campaign for expanding the sanctuary to the reclaimed hilltop which is a part of the 200 acre parcel that currently houses over 200 dogs and countless cats.

Founder Randy Skaggs has worked selflessly – with very little help - over 25 years to provide shelter, food and loving care for the abandoned and abused animals of Appalachia.
