Ready to Rock? South Florida’s Iron Maidenz Prepare for Inaugural, National Baseball Tournament

SUNRISE, Fla. - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Bases Loaded’s (www.gobasesloaded.com) all-girl baseball team, the Iron Maidenz (www.ironmaidenzbaseball.com) , will be making history by competing in the first-ever, all-girls baseball tournament to be held this summer in Orlando. That’s right, BASEBALL – not softball!

Following in the footsteps of Mo’ne Davis and the success she experienced last year at the Little League World Series, the Iron Maidenz will travel to Central Florida to compete against all-girl baseball teams from across the country. Organized by national, non-profit Baseball for All (www.baseballforall.com) , the tournament aims at showcasing girls ability to play a sport dominated by boys & the importance of providing equal opportunities and resources for girls in baseball.

Encouraging others to begin or extend their baseball programs to include girls, Dr. Justine Siegal, founder of Baseball for All, commented: “If you tell a girl she can't play baseball what else will she think she can't do?"

COME CHECK OUT THE IRON MAIDENZ! The Iron Maidenz will be rockin’ the field this Sunday, April 12^th, at 5 PM, versus the Cooper City Cowboys. The address is 10500 Stirling Rd., Cooper City, FL.
