Audi of Ann Arbor Becomes Official Car Dealership of AFC Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - April 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Audi of Ann Arbor (http://www.audiannarbor.com/) has signed on to become the presenting sponsor and official car dealership of AFC Ann Arbor. As part of this partnership, Audi of Ann Arbor will feature the new “GOOOOAL” logo on the back of AFC Ann Arbor’s home and away kits. The new Audi logo was created as part of the all-new partnership (http://www.audiusa.com/about/mls-partnership) between the automaker and Major League Soccer (http://www.mlssoccer.com/).

The partnership between Audi of Ann Arbor and AFC Ann Arbor also includes the dealerships support of all youth based programming for AFC Ann Arbor. Audi of Ann Arbor’s General Manager, JP Lammers wanted to make sure their partnership would positively impact the youth of the region.

He added, “As someone who has grown up in Ann Arbor, I realize the importance of sports and in particular soccer in this community. When I heard about the AFC Ann Arbor team forming, I was immediately interested and wanted to be involved. AFC Ann Arbor was founded in 2014 to bring minor league soccer to Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities.  The team will compete in the inaugural season of the Great Lakes Premier League (http://www.greatlakespremierleague.com/) as a founding club.  The club will be made up of amateur players from the area and recruited from top college programs across the state and country.  The season will run May 1-July 25th with home games being played at Pioneer’s High School Hollway Field.
