New local TV Show coming to Houston!

HOUSTON - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- When you think of Houston, think H-Town hot.  Houston Texas is the fourth most populated city in America and is full of energy.  Houston's historical yet trendy venues are known for some of the best shopping, creative cuisine & most notorious entrepreneurs in Texas.  I had the privilege to sit down and interview Houston's Hottest show host Jimisu Balko, as she shares her passion & journey to this great city.

How did you get your start in Television?  "When I was young I was painfully shy!  I was approached many times by photographers to be in their portfolio and did that somewhat.  I remember my Mother taking me to a modeling agency in the 70's, back then there were only a very few agencies and I went to the best.  He took one look at me and said "You're NOT tall enough".  Out I went with my shy little tail between my legs and didn't pursue it again until I was almost 50!
When I was 49 my girlfriend and I decided to visit a fortune teller just for fun and she asked me if I was a Singer.  Of course I said no and she said, well you should have been world known and you will have one more chance, don't let it pass you by. So with that little "push" I got my portfolio together and off I went to every agency in Houston.  To my surprise, I was doing my first TV commercials for Tommie Vaughn Ford the next week.  Since, I have literally done hundreds of TV commercial, hosted nationwide TV shows, been on billboards, covers of magazine and a calendar girl!  ALL AFTER THE AGE OF 50!"

What do you think about the city of Houston?  "I absolutely LOVE Big H.  I am a Tyler Rose, born in Tyler, Texas and left when I was in the 3rd grade.  I can't imagine living anywhere else.  I'm a Houston girl for sure!"

What is your favorite part of the city?  "Ummhhh, that's a hard one.  I guess the Galleria area, but honestly, any where there is an awesome restaurant that's where I want to be."
