Major growth prompts UES Energy to change structure

April 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Leading UK energy consultancy UES Energy has undergone a major structural development to cope with the strong, sustained growth experience since 2011 including a record-breaking performance in 2014.

The Caerphilly-based business has announced the creation of a Leadership Team of five key people following a turnover in excess of £1.84 million this financial year - an increase of 23% on 2014 and the 12^th consecutive year’s growth for the company founded in 2003.

The Leadership Team includes Managing Director Andrew Diplock, Commercial Director Gruff Dodd, Business Development Director Richard Bennett, Client Services Director Andy Hutchinson and Business Improvement Director Alison Howard.

It has been unveiled publicly to coincide with BITC’s Responsible Business Week, in which UES Energy are actively involved.

Andrew Diplock said: “I wanted to create a Leadership Team in which each member would have the accountability and responsibilities to manage critical areas of business.

“It brings into focus expertise in strategy, business development, client services, energy markets and risk management, supplier relationships, business processes and systems and organisational development.

“Like changing up a gear, I believe that the new structure will drive the company to the next level and help us achieve our vision while remaining focused on service excellence.”

UES Energy and its staff have been recognised by their peers in the energy consultancy industry across the UK with national awards in 2013 and 2014 and Andrew Diplock was named IoD Wales Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors in 2014.

The company now manages over £140m of energy contracts (more than 1.75TWh of energy) for clients across the UK.
