Billy Goodwin - St. John's Famed Basketball Team Captain '83 Drops By The GingerNewYork TV Show

NEW YORK - May 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Billy Goodwin: originally from Harlem, led the St. John's Men's Basketball Team to several victories, including the historical Big East Tournament Win over Boston College that landed him front headline news all over the New York City newspapers as well as the cover page of Sports Illustrated in 1983.

Billy Goodwin was a solid athlete and guard for St. John's. Goodwin averaged 15 points, about five rebounds and four assists per game for the St. John's squad which ended that year at 28-5, including a winning streak of 14.  Goodwin was a third-round draft choice of the Milwaukee Bucks out of St. John's. Billy Goodwin has remained in France since the late 80s where he has also been a counselor for troubled youth at UET - Fleurey sur Ouche.  Mr. Goodwin is the founder of Billy Goodwin Basketball Services offering sports management/promotions, scouting and coaching services for European professional basketball players.

Billy Goodwin is the host of a popular two-hour weekly all-sports radio show in Dijon, France.

Mr. Goodwin recently attended the 2015 St. John's Alumni Great Lawn Reunion party at the Queens campus, on Saturday April 25th, and was greeted by many sports fans.
