Jason Line Captures Circle K NHRA Winternationals Pro Stock Win with WELD Racing Wheels

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The 2015 NHRA drag racing season opened in style at the Circle K Winternationals in Pomona, Calif. with driver Jason Line (6.545 seconds, 211.83 mph) capturing a win in the Pro Stock final with WELD Racing wheels. Piloting a Chevy Camaro in all WELD Racing Delta final, Line defeated rookie Drew Skillman (6.556 seconds, 211.13 mph) who also drives a Camaro with WELD Racing wheels.

Line’s victory was his fourth career Winternationals win and his 36th career Pro Stock title.

In Funny Car, Courtney Force was the number one qualifier with WELD Racing wheels onboard. Force went out in the second round, finishing sixth overall. Robert Hight from John Force Racing, who also utilizes WELD Racing wheels, went all the way to the semifinals before he was defeated. Hight finished fourth overall.

In the Top Fuel category it was a disappointing event for drivers Clay Millican and Brittany Force. Both drivers, who use WELD Racing wheels, showed promise in qualifying but were eliminated in their opening heats.

The next event on the 24-race NHRA nationwide schedule is the CARQUEST Auto Parts Nationals to be held February 20-22 in Chandler, Ariz.
