Ingerman Announces the Grand Opening of Parklands at Cecilton

CECILTON, Md. - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Cecilton Mayor Joe Zang will join representatives from Ingerman and Housing Initiative Partnership on Tuesday, May 19^th for the Grand Opening of Parklands at Cecilton, a new affordable housing community in Cecilton, Maryland.

Ingerman, a leading developer, manager and builder of multi-family apartment communities, partnered with the Housing Initiative Partnership to provide high-quality affordable housing to contribute to the economic development of Cecil County’s southernmost town. The Parklands at Cecilton project has transformed open space along Main Street in downtown Cecilton into a vibrant new community of 62 spacious and well-appointed one, two, and three bedroom affordable rental residences for low and moderate income households. Each of the 10 complex buildings have three apartments on the first floor and three on the second floor. All are equipped with a premium appliance package and carry a 98-percent EnergyStar-efficiency rating.
