RE: South Carolina Literacy Celebration 2015

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - May 25, 2015 - PRLog -- The purpose of the South Carolina Literacy Celebration is to provide an outlet for authors to sign books, meet fans, and discuss the importance of their work. This event will include twenty or more authors each year. This is a mainstream event for all authors and readers.

This year the South Carolina Literacy Celebration will be held at the West Gate Mall, 205 W Blackstock Rd #1, Spartanburg, SC 29301.

Saturday, June 20, 2015 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 21, 2015 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The authors participating in this event are from all over the United States. Authors from Illinois, Florida, Kansas, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, and local South Carolina authors will participate in this event. Many of the authors are award-winning authors, best-selling authors, and well established authors with multiple titles. All of the authors will sell and sign their books on site. We are anticipating a large crowd this year of book lovers that are anxious to meet published authors.

The event will kick off June 19, 2015 at the Easley Library. We will host a story time for young children and a writing workshop teens.

Story time with Children’s Author Tiffany A. Flowers - Location: Easley, SC - Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Teen Writing Workshop – Developing your voice in writing - Location: Easley, SC - Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Award-Winning Young Adult Author Tony Lindsay will facilitate a writing workshop for teens.
