By: CashOff Inc CashOff originally launched over 18 months ago as a “Do It Yourself” coupon system but after signing up over 1000 merchants and speaking with the majority of them we decided to change the business model. The merchants told us they didn't have enough spare time or personnel to use a DIY system and they wanted something similar but less expensive than Groupon. We listened, filed a provisional patent application on our new idea, built the software and are proud to announce the new CashOff. The patent pending digital discount system is exactly what our name implies, Cash Off a product or service. Unlike ordinary coupons that are typically free, CashOffs will have much greater value and must be either earned or purchased. CashOffs are not free coupons. Instead they are discounts that are earned by sharing the CashOff with your friends on social media. Consumers get the discounts for free just by sharing the CashOffs on Facebook or Twitter rather than paying in advance like they often do now. Merchants will benefit from a substantially lower cost coupon or daily deal solution when compared to the existing daily deal sites. They will also receive much greater social media distribution of their discount offers because of the manner that this patent pending coupon system integrates social media. “We have already signed up close to 100 merchants in S. Florida alone without a dedicated salesforce,” About CashOff Inc. CashOff has launched a unique web based business model that we expect will be disruptive to Groupon and the other daily deal sites that account for over $6 billion dollars in annual discount deal revenue. Unlike Groupon and the other daily deal sites, which keep up to 50% of the revenue of any “deal” offered by a merchant, CashOff will be inexpensive for the merchant and substantially more viral because of how it incorporates social media. In this day and age, consumers expect there to be deals when they go shopping, but most small businesses cannot afford the revenue sharing the daily deal sites require and so they end up losing consumers to other companies that are willing to pay the exorbitant fees for a short while. Because of its low cost and marketing effectiveness, CashOff appeals to every business. Contact: Brian Thomas (bt@cashoff.com (mailto:bt@cashoff.com?
