Follow on Google News | ![]() Bosco Tech's Basketball Skills Camp Offered for 4th-9th GradersThe camp will focus on skill development, good practice habits and drills. Additionally, it will feature motivational talks, goal setting exercises and awards for each age group. Participants will learn the fundamentals of a good offense and defense game as well as competing in 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 tournaments, and free throw and 3-point contests. “Our basketball camp is a great opportunity for players to immerse themselves in four solid weeks of training,” said Bosco Tech Basketball Coach Dominic Sermeno. “Boys and girls will definitely strengthen their game and improve their skills during the long summer break.” The cost of the basketball camp is $175 per participant. Sessions are from 1 to 3 p.m. for grades 4 through 8 and 3 to 4:30 p.m. for grade 9. The camp will run concurrently with Bosco Tech’s five-week sports camp for young people going into grades 6 through 8, featuring one-week sessions in baseball, football, soccer, tennis and volleyball. The multi-sport camp runs from June 22 through July 24. Students may elect to participate in one or all five camps.
