Ohio social workers have a license renewal every two years with a date of issue deadline. Thirty hours of continuing education are required for license renewal, and there are no limits for online courses if ASWB approved. Three hours of ethics are required at each renewal. This organization (Professional Development Resources, Inc. ACE Approval Number 1046) is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. Professional Development Resources maintains responsibility for all programs. ASWB Approval Period: 6/12/2000 – 6/12/2016. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.
