The EOL Practitioner Movement now

AUSTIN, Texas - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Join us on the weekend of September 18 - 21, 2015 in beautiful Estes Park, CO to celebrate our calling to serve people at the end of life.

It began with hospice in the late 1960s, the first wave of an incredible movement to bring comfort and peace to people who were dying in misery, alone and in pain. There is another wave of empowerment at the end of life that is going on now; this time, on the individual level.

There are independent practitioners all over the world, heeding the call to serve the dying in very creative ways in addition to hospice, as an adjunct to hospice. This podcast describes this movement, the organization Deanna Cochran created to nurture it, and the first gathering of this org, The End of Life Practitioner's Collective.

"We are so excited to create the space to bring people from all over to discuss and share about this powerful moment in time we are in," says Deanna. Amidst the mountains, in great company and unified by our desire to serve, we have an amazing weekend planned for everyone. People are already writing us and letting us know they are planning their journey to get here...from Prague...from Australia, from all over.
