Go Eat Give and Chateau Saigon present a celebration of Vietnamese culture and cuisine in Atlanta

Destination Vietnam will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 7:00pm at Chateau Saigon with food, music and speakers

ATLANTA - June 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Recently named by Zagat as one of Atlanta’s best restaurants serving Pho, Chateau Saigon is a Vietnamese staple located right on the bustling strip of diverse flavors we know as Buford Highway. Its authenticity roots from French and Southeast Asian heritage blended with regional specialties. This month, the restaurant is partnering with Go Eat Give, a non-profit organization promoting cultural education, to present Destination Vietnam, an event that exposes Atlanta residents to Vietnamese culture, community and tourism.

Destination Vietnam will be a medium for everyday citizens to learn about traveling to Vietnam, taste authentic dishes, and network among globally minded people. Guests will enjoy educational presentations by established community members, performances and a family-style dinner.

Guest speakers will include Boaky Vu and Jenny Huynh. Both immigrants from Vietnam, Vu and Huynh will share their unique journeys and challenges. Vu has been featured as a political commentator on CNN and currently serves as a principle of Silverbury Capital, an investment and strategic advisory firm based in Atlanta. Huynh, managing partner of Caldwell and Huynh, will share stories about backpacking through Vietnam.

Destination Vietnam will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 7:00pm at Chateau Saigon (4300 Buford Hwy NE #218, Atlanta, GA 30345). Tickets for the event can be purchased at destinationvietnam.eventbrite.com. Prices are $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Tickets include buffet dinner, speaker, entertainment, tax and tip. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Go Eat Give, which strives to raise awareness of different cultures throughout the world.
