If you want to open a file in Photoshop by double clicking the left mouse button you have to set the command first. Choose the file you want to open, right click on the file. From the drop down menu, choose “Open With” and then “Choose default program...” Make sure the checkbox “Use this app for all .jpg files” is checked and then select Adobe Photoshop. At the moment, the file is set to be opened by double clicking the left mouse button with Picasa Photo Viewer. Now we will set the file to be opened with Adobe Photoshop. There are multiple ways to open a file with Photoshop 1. Now, we are going to learn how to open a file with Adobe Photoshop. First, open Photoshop. From the Menu, which is situated on top left choose “File”, then “Open...” and then choose the file you want to open by double clicking on it. 2. You can open multiple files at once. Follow the same steps described above; except this time choose all the files, you want to open. 3. To view only the file format you want to open, follow the steps described in the 1st step and from the Open box choose the format you want to open. This procedure is useful to be done especially when you have many files with different formats in the same folder and you want to find quicker the file you need. 4.
