ORLANDO, Fla. - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The Institute of Technical Arts (ITA) has recently announced their partnership with the National Dog Grooming Association of America (NDGAA). The partnership will immediately bear fruit, with educational workshops and dog groomer certification testing to be held at ITA on Saturday June 27th, 2015 and Sunday, June 28th 2015, sponsored by the NDGAA.

Based in Casselberry, Florida, in the Orlando metropolitan area, the Institute of Technical Arts is an independent, private postsecondary school specializing in veterinary technology and pet grooming programs.  In 27 years, ITA has evolved from a pet grooming facility into a cutting edge teaching facility, offering students training from leading practitioners in the dog grooming industry, and providing students with the most up-to-date environment to learn their trade. ITA’s students learn in a classroom teaching environment, and gain invaluable hands-on experience before pursuing a career in the animal care profession.

For over 45 years, the National Dog Grooming Association of America has worked with dog groomers all over the world, while promoting professionalism and education in the dog grooming industry. Through their membership initiatives, the NDGAA continues to promote a platform for communication among dog grooming practitioners to exchange ideas and remain current with trends in the dog grooming field.  Part of this platform consists of accredited workshops and dog groomer certification tests in which the Institute of Technical Arts is looking forward to hosting and participating in.

Laura Lundberg, CEO of the Institute of Technical Arts, commented on the recent partnership, “We provide opportunities for all aspiring Dog Groomers to participate in educational initiatives – which not only help them pass dog groomer certification tests, but give graduates an enhanced experience as they progress in the grooming industry. Our partnership with the National Dog Grooming Association of America for educational workshops and dog groomer certification will allow us to take this medium that much further.”
