All Revved Up For The 4th Annual REV IT UP For SickKids On July 5, 2015

TORONTO - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- VAUGHAN: June 23, 2015 – Now in its 4^th year, the annual REV IT UP For SickKids will once again put the pedal to the metal and get on the road Sunday, July 5, 2015.  A truly remarkable experience is in store, from the picturesque ride route with a stop at the Hospital for Sick Children, all the way to the grand finale event at Peller Estates Winery in beautiful Niagara‐on‐the-­Lake. Guests will be treated to a delectable Chef-inspired gourmet meal with a variety of tasty stations, sparkling refreshments, live entertainment, gift bags & amazing prizes!

REV IT UP For SickKids is driven to support SickKids Foundation, and specifically the Department of Cardiology at the Hospital For Sick Children. Funds raised will be used to purchase NIRS equipment (Near Infrared Spectroscopy Technology) leading edge technology used to measure oxygen levels in various parts of a patient’s body & monitor the effectiveness of a child’s heart.

NEW in 2015, REV IT UP For SickKids is the largest event of its kind attracting ALL RIDERS, locally and beyond in the GTA. Everyone is invited to participate, you can REV IT UP on your motorcycle OR any vehicle, cars and trucks are also encouraged to participate. Now you don't have to be a "Bad-Ass Biker" or a “Race Car Driver” to Join The Ride!  Individuals and Businesses alike can also sponsor a rider through the NEW "Adopt-A-Rider” initiative, partner up with a friend, family member or business colleague and Join The Ride by registering online: http://revitupforsickkids.com/  Donations are also accepted for those who cannot attend and can be safely and securely made online: http://revitupforsickkids.com/

Co-Founder, Salvatore Oliveti said, “This year’s event is expected to draw the largest number of participants but we’re looking for even more riders.  Our commitment to the event and SickKids Foundation is made possible through the help of others.  We’ve revved things up with an increased focus on promotion including a new REVVED UP Club to keep up with the growing outreach of supporters, a new lease on Committee Members and a dedicated event plan to help us reach our goal.  We’ve raised over $200,000, by 2016, we hope to double this amount!”

The event gets underway with a breakfast infused rally beginning at 8:30am from Commercial Bakeries, 45 Torbarrie Road (Hwy. 401 & Hwy. 400).  Registration, refreshments, show & shine and official starting ceremony, and then departs for the ride portion of the event.
