Sacred Heart Schools Offers Expanded Summer Leadership Program

More than 30 Enrichment Programs for grades 5 through 12, offerings include S.T.E.A.M inspired science, technology, engineering, arts and math courses.

KINGSTON, Mass. - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, is offering a Summer Leadership Program that will bring more than 30 new Summer Enrichment Programs to the Kingston based High School campus, which includes the new state-of-the-art  Science and Innovation Center.

The innovative programs, led by Summer Programs Director Dylan Collins, will benefit students in grades 5 through 12.  The one-week electives are designed to meet the specific interests of students and better prepare them for future studies.  The classes will be taught by Sacred Heart staff, alumni, college professors, researchers, and other professionals in their fields.

The course offerings include S.T.E.A.M.  (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) inspired programs including Marine Biology, Robotics, Engineering, Forensics, Theater, Visual Arts, Web Design and Art History Museum Hopping.  Additional offerings include Entrepreneurship “Shark Tank,” SAT Prep classes and the College Bound program where students visit a different college campus each day. Sports programs include basketball, lacrosse and tennis.
