The 2016 Chevy Cruze and 2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible Are Coming Soon

The all-new 2016 Chevy Cruze will be powered by a 1.4L turbocharged inline-four that delivers 153 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Chevy expects that this engine should also be able to offer fuel efficiency numbers up to 40 mpg highway. Other changes come to the exterior of this compact car, which will be longer and have a wider wheelbase than the outgoing model. The increased length of the new Cruze will offer more legroom for backseat passengers.

In terms of technology, the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will come standard with a Chevrolet MyLink seven-inch color touchscreen interface. This system will offer smartphone compatibility for iPhone and Android device users. The Cruze is also the first vehicle in its class to come with a standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. High-tech capabilities are also included in the area of safety, with available features like a Forward Collision Alert and Lane Keep Assist systems.

Also fully redesigned for the 2016 model year is the 2016 Chevy Camaro. Included among the available formats is a 2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible, which will be the only convertible in the industry with a fully automatic convertible top with latches that automatically release and secure themselves. This drop top will also be able to be opened or close at speeds up to 30 mph.

Under the hood of the 2016 Chevy Camaro convertible will be a host of six all-new powertrain configurations, including a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four, a 3.6L V6, and a 6.2L V8 that will put out 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.
