Summer Dance Camps and Workshops for Kids

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- BalletNova announces our summer camps and workshops for July and August 2015. We are accepting registrations now – online at www.BalletNova.org, or in the studio at 3443 Carlin Springs Road, Falls Church, VA 22041.

YOUNG CHILDREN'S HALF-DAY CAMPS
9:00 am – 12:00 pm / Ages 4 ½ - 6
Tuition: $230

Midsummer Night’s Dream: July 6 – 10:
Around the World: August 10 – 14
Explore the world of dance and movement through these themed ½ day camps. Participants learn dances, stories, and create crafts that improve gross motor skills and stimulate imagination and creativity.

ALL DAY DANCE CAMPS
10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Ruby Dance Camp: July 27 – 31
Ages 6 – 9, Tuition: $375/week
Join us for a week of story ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and musical theater choreography with a performance at the end!

Sapphire Dance Camp: Two Sessions: July 27 – 31 and August 3 - 7
Ages 8 – 11: Tuition: $375/week
A week filled with story ballet, character dancing, jazz, modern, musical theater and flamenco choreography with a performance at the end!

INTENSIVE BALLET WORKSHOPS (Non-BalletNova dancers welcome, placed by audition)
10:00 am – 4:30 pm
Contemporary Performance Workshop – July 6 – 17
Ages 13 – 18- Intermediate Level (BalletNova Junior Division V – Conservatory Division)
Starting with a ballet technique class in the morning, dancers will explore contemporary choreography in modern and jazz.
Tuition:  $725/ two-week session

Diamond Intensive Study Workshop: July 20 – August 21
Ages 12 - 18- Advanced Intermediate Level (BalletNova Junior Division IV – Conservatory Division)
Tuition:  $1,685 (or $395/week)
Includes ballet technique, variations, jazz, modern, hip hop, conditioning, theatre dance and a variety of seminars.
