HNTB’s Tracey Friggle Logan Awarded WTS Woman of the Year Award

DALLAS - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- HNTB’s Tracey Friggle Logan, PE, was recently honored with the Woman of the Year Award by Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. This award honors a woman who is an outstanding role model and has contributed to the advancement of women and minorities in transportation.

Logan has worked closely with elected officials to increase opportunities and participation for minority and woman-owned firms and was actively involved in the coordination of the Cooperative Inclusion Plan (CIP), a program that strives to address the lack of certified D/W/W/SBEs in highway contracting.

Logan has 25 years of service with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) where she served as the first female Director of Construction for the Dallas District Office. In this role, she managed 140 projects valued at $1.5 billion annually. She currently lead’s HNTB’s growing construction management/CEI practice in North Texas.

The 2015 annual reception and silent auction scholarship fundraiser was held at Fort Worth’s National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
