Channel Islands Harbor to Hold Arts Festival in Celebration of 50th Anniversary

OXNARD, Calif. - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Channel Islands Harbor (http://www.channelislandsharbor.org/) will host an Arts Festival featuring fine arts and crafts 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., July 11-12, at the Harbor Landing, located at 2800 Harbor Blvd., at the corner of Channel Islands Blvd. The outdoor festival is free and open to the public.

The event will feature accomplished artists presenting their original work in all mediums of two and three dimensional fine art, including paintings in acrylics, oils, watercolors, photography, and sculpture in glass, metal, and wood. Each artist will be present to meet with the public and discuss their work. All work is available for purchase.

This event is produced by West Coast Artists (http://www.westcoastartists.com/), which has presented fine art shows throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada since 1983.

In honor of its 50^thAnniversary, the Channel Islands Harbor will hold special events for six months, starting July 4^th weekend where there will be an expanded fireworks show and special Farmer’s Market events. There will be a series of summer concerts, fun runs, car shows, children’s programs and it ends with the Harbor’s Parade of Lights in December.
