Shermco Announces July Webinar: “Manage Reliability: How Healthy are Your Cables?”

The webinar will focus on various testing techniques applied to medium voltage cables.  The goal of the session is to educate asset owners, electrical engineers, plant managers, reliability engineers and field technicians on the technologies relating to cable maintenance.  Sandri enumerates the webinar’s following benefits:

·         For reliability engineers, plant managers and asset owners:  The webinar information will aid in developing a comprehensive cable maintenance program to determine the condition of their medium voltage cables.  A cable maintenance program is done to help predict the remaining life expectancy, risk of failure and to prioritize cable replacement and/or injection.  This predictive approach to maintenance further allows better management of maintenance costs and resources.  Information related to the condition and quality of the cables allows maintenance efforts to be placed where they are most needed.
