The Diversity Recruiters Network’s Diversity Spirit Achievement Award™ is a national award program recognizing corporations, individuals, community organizations and media for actively supporting diversity in the community and workplace. The nomination criteria include having vision, creativity and active promotion of diversity and inclusion on a local and national level. “The Diversity Spirit Achievement Award™ recognizes the tireless efforts of these awardees in the diversity and inclusion space,” said Neal Morrison, Director of Diversity Recruiters Network. “They have set the bar for others to emulate nationwide.” Panelists for the Diversity Practitioners Roundtable, include Aquino, Hall, Bridges, Connie Summers (Boeing), Charlotte Foster (Swedish), Dr. Paul Gerhardt (Pierce College), Deputy Chief Carmen Best (Seattle Police Department). Best practices for recruiting, promoting and retaining qualified employees from the Multicultural and Diverse communities will be explored.
