Honda Fit, Accord, and CR-V Are the Best Family CarsParents Magazine and Edmunds.com partnered up to determine the Best Family Cars for 2015, and these three Honda models made the list.
As both Parents Magazine and Edmunds.com were concerned with family vehicle worthiness, safety was a top priority, choosing three models that come equipped with a standard rearview camera and earned top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The models were also weighed against over 100 of their competitors in other key areas, including performance, value, and convenience features. The 2015 Accord has been recognized as one of the top sedans in the market by countless critics and families thanks to its fuel-efficient engines, advanced tech features (such as Honda LaneWatch blind-spot display), and its sophisticated styling. In addition to taking home a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS, it earned a Five-Star Overall Safety Rating from the NHTSA. The latest Honda Fit has been revamped significantly to make it even more spacious and fuel-efficient than the outgoing model. The versatile Magic Seat in the second row lets the Fit switch between hauling cargo or moving people in seconds, and its three trim levels provide a wide range of options to give drivers what they want in a new car. The CR-V just underwent a mid-cycle refresh that brought a new engine – with more power and greater fuel efficiency – as well as a brand new Touring trim level that has Honda Sensing accident prevention features. To learn more about what makes the 2015 Honda Accord, Fit, and CR-V excellent family vehicle options, readers have been encouraged to visit Bosak Honda Highland for a test drive.
