Follow on Google News | Junior Spice Is Coming Over ToniteReggae Singer, Junior Spice, is back after almost a decade with a new EP for Lovers Rock fans.
By: Trondada Spice’s talents were inspired by his uncle Eric Tello who was a successful artist in the 70’S. He lists his mentors as Bagga Case and Winston Boyo Hammond (Beres Hammonds' brother). He was also influenced by Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, and Dennis Brown. In the early 90’s Spice was also part of a group called “Detour.” In 1999, he migrated to Tampa FL, Junior Spice endeavored to continue his music career, and was able to form a Reggae band called “Rebels with a Cause.” Spice was the lead singer, mainly performing in Florida, and the West Coast. They opened for various artists like Luciano, Yellow Man, Culture, and Freddie McGregor. He also performed at Wild Splash, and perform alongside major hip hop and R&B artists like Ashanti, Busta Rhymes, and Sean Paul. He is now firmly set to have a successful recording career, with more releases in the pipeline with “Can You” heading for pre- release in August 2015.
