Media Alert:New Philadelphia Coalition Demanding Justice In Controversial Brandon Tate Brown Case

PHILADELPHIA - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Who: New Coalition of Brandon Tate Brown supporters including the leaders and members of: Philadelphia chapter of the NAACP; Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity, Inc.; the National Action Network; POWER (Philadelphians Organized to Witness, Empower, and Rebuild); and Tonya Brown Dickerson (mother of Mr. Brown).

What: Press conference and rally for justice

When: Wednesday August 5, 2015 11:00 a.m.

Where: 6700 Frankford Avenue, the site where Brandon Tate Brown was shot and killed by Philadelphia police in December 2015

Why: The coalition leaders have met and reviewed the evidence. They will issue a call for justice and release a list of demands in the controversial case. The specifics of what the group is seeking will be detailed during the press conference. The coalition will also press for swift implementation of the 91 Department of Justice recommendations for the Philadelphia Police Department related to the use of force and the use of deadly force.
