Sky Zone Plainfield hosts Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Qualifer with over $50,000 in prizes

PLAINFIELD, Ind. - Aug. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Plainfield Indiana, home of the world’s first all-walled trampoline playing court, is gearing up to host Local Qualifier for the 2015 Ultimate Dodgeball Championship. Taking place in two phases in September and October, qualifying teams from around the world will have an opportunity to battle it out on the court for a chance to win $50,000 in cash prizes. Ultimate Dodgeball combines the high-flying action of Sky Zone’s patented trampoline courts with the blistering pace of dodgeball for a thrilling test of skill and agility.

The annual event series kicks off with Local Qualifier tournament in Plainfield, IN which takes place on September 9th; the tournament consists of three minute games of 5-on-5 dodgeball played on trampoline courts. The cost for each team to participate in the Local Qualifier is $99, and each team participant in the Qualifier receives free food and beverages. Other Local Qualifier tournaments to be held in over 90 parks throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and Mexico. The winner of each Local Qualifier will advance to Las Vegas from October 15th to October 18th for the playoffs. On the final day, the Championship Tournament between the world’s top eight teams will be streamed as part of a free, live HD webcast, visible at Livestream.com on Sunday, October 18th.

The winning team will be awarded $20,000; the second place team will be awarded $10,000; the third and fourth place teams will be awarded $4,500; and the remaining four teams will be awarded $2,750 in cash prizes. With 105 Sky Zone parks open worldwide, participation in this year’s tournament will reach an all-time high with over 1,000 teams expected to compete in this one-of-a-kind competition.
