Follow on Google News | Waterfront Outdoor Photo ExhibitBy: Waterfront BIA “Through our photo contests, we have seen such an incredible collection of landscapes, festivals, attractions, and people appreciating all the Waterfront has to offer,” states Carol Jolly, Executive Director, The Waterfront BIA. “We wanted to celebrate some of our city’s talented amateur photographers and share their captured moments through the Waterfront Outdoor Photo Exhibit.” Each photo in the Waterfront Outdoor Photo Exhibit is printed on a 5ft high x 2ft wide vinyl banner that will hang on all hydro poles from Yonge Street to Bathurst Street. The 100 featured images of Toronto’s Waterfront were taken by amateur photographers from neighbourhoods throughout the Greater Toronto area including the Waterfront, The Beach, Leslieville, East York, North York, High Park, Markham, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brookdale, Mount Albert and Thornhill. A list of the featured images with descriptive titles can be found on The Waterfront BIA’s website at www.waterfrontbia.com. “Toronto’s Waterfront is a place where people come to relax and enjoy the photographic beauty of the neighbourhood,” Starting Friday, September 4, the first 250 visitors will receive a Waterfront Welcome Bag full of special offers and gifts from local businesses! To receive your own bag, spot one of the eight uniformed Waterfront Singing Ambassadors, performing and informing along the water’s edge all weekend long.
