Wayne Trail Elementary Maumee City Schools Launches Parent Communications Mobile App

MAUMEE, Ohio - Aug. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Wayne Trail Elementary School principal, Dr. Nick Neiderhouse, is announcing that the mobile communications app for the school has been published and is ready for parents and faculty to download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play for use on their Apple and Android phones and tablets. This is the first mobile app developed in the Maumee Schools and among the first for northwest Ohio schools.

"Mobile communication is the new school communication", said Neiderhouse. "Nearly every parent of school-aged kids carries a phone and many have a phone and a tablet and that's what they use to communicate with the world, including our school. We strongly believe this is one of the most powerful tools available to engage parents, staff and the school community".

Mobile apps for schools are becoming very popular with school administrators. The interactive tool allows schools to use push notifications to alert parents in an instant. Mobile school apps also have a great number of other useful, convenience features including GPS directions, school lunches, real time school news feeds, schedules, school contact names and numbers, interactive voice recording (contact your Principals, Teachers), social media integration and more.

The Wayne Trail Mobile App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, by simply searching for "Wayne Trail".

In a welcome message to parents, Neiderhouse said "Wayne Trail Elementary is a great place to grow and learn. The elementary years of a child's school life are extremely important.
